Angel Leandres
Angel is a certified Animal Care Technician and Animal Nutritionist (graduate with honours), specializing in dog nutrition and dog training. Her knowledge and experience were forged over a lifetime of working closely with animals and professionals in the animal care industry.
Angel spent over 9 years studying captive and wild wolves in northern Ontario under the guidance of a reputable wolf biologist, and it was there that she learned everything she knows about raw feeding and the dietary needs of all canines - domesticated and wild. She is passionate about animals, dog behaviour and training, wolf biology and Nature conservation.
Angel shares her life with her husband Rob and her very best friend, Hunter, a super spoiled German Shepherd who is of West German working lines. Angel enjoys training and competing with Hunter in various venues, but they are currently focused on Schutzhund/IPO, competitive obedience, narcotics detection and therapy work.
Angel's greatest ambition is to change the lives of dogs all over the world and she seeks to share her knowledge and encourage change with her blog, K9 Instinct. Angel hopes to share her knowledge with her readers and help everyone become informed animal advocates!
