Another drool-worthy dog treat that is easy and inexpensive to make! These yummy peanut butter, carrot and honey dog treats are made with nutritious grain-free coconut flour. Coconut flour is great for skin and coat health and makes an excellent grain alternative for dogs with allergies or sensitivities.

Also made with beta-carotene rich shredded carrot and pure pumpkin puree to deliver the anti-oxidants, vitamins and pure wholesome yumminess every dog will enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 & 1/4 cups of coconut flour
  • 1 cup of smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of shredded carrot
  • 1 tablespoon of pure pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup of raw honey
  • 4 eggs

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl add your coconut flour, peanut butter, shredded carrot, pumpkin, honey and eggs.
  3. Roll out your cookie dough to your thickness of preference, then cut out cookie cutter shapes and line them up 1/2 an inch apart of a cookie sheet on parchment paper.
  4. Bake in the oven for 18 minutes.

Don't have any coconut flour? You can substitute the coconut flour for 2 cups of either whole wheat flour or rice flour!

Thank you for this yummy recipe. I know our fur babies will love these treats. Our little girl has food allergies and the coconut flour is perfect for her. Her vet recommends that we not use eggs due to her allergies. Would substituting apple sauce for the eggs work?

Thanks for sharing this recipe. My border terrier seems to get an upset tummy with grain, and these are perfect. She adores them!
